The Melwood Prince George's County Open is launching a new program to create additional funding for charitable organizations. "TICKETS Fore CHARITY" enables non-profit organizations to sell discounted tickets to the May 19-25 professional golf tournament and keep 100 percent of the money from their ticket sales. Artist Studio Spaces Available at Glen Echo Park, Maryland – Deadline Extended
The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture is seeking visual artists and nonprofit visual arts organizations to join the Park’s Resident Artists and to lease studio space in the refurbished Chautauqua Tower. 2008 Maryland Preservation & Revitalization Conference hosted by Preservation Maryland

Maryland's 2008 Preservation & Revitalization Conference will be held May 29-30 at the University Systems of Maryland in historic downtown Hagerstown. This year promises to provide and exciting program emphasizing practical tools and lessons that can be carried back to your communities. In addition to a variety of educational sessions, there will be workshops, tours, an exhibit hall, and affinity events. The evening of Thursday, May 29 will feature the conference plenary session followed by a reception at Hagerstown's historic Maryland Theatre. Also, plan to attend the Maryland Historical Trust Awards and Reception, honoring extraordinary preservation leaders throughout the state, on the evening of Friday, May 30.
