“All the easy problems have been solved; the hard problems have been left to nonprofits.”
Peter Brinkerhoff

That is why, for nearly 20 years, Maryland Nonprofits has worked tirelessly to strengthen, educate, and engage nonprofit organizations so they can successfully achieve their missions.  By serving as the leading advocate for the interest and needs of nonprofits and the communities they serve, we build trust, accountability, efficiency, and excellence in the sector.  And we cannot do this critical work without you!

How can I support Maryland Nonprofits?

Maryland Budget & Tax Policy Institute – A nonpartisan research organization, the Maryland Budget & Tax Policy Institute (the Institute) provides credible and reliable research and analysis of state budget and tax policies to community groups, nonprofit advocates, policymakers, the media, and other constituencies. The Institute’s focus is on how policies and proposals affect low- and moderate-income Marylanders, other vulnerable populations, and the community programs that serve them.
