Nonprofit Organizations More than 1,700 nonprofit organizations in the state are already Maryland Nonprofits members. For a complete list of membership benefits, click here. Any 501(c) organization may join.
Emerging Nonprofits Organizations that are in the process of being formed and have not received their IRS determination letter yet are eligible to enroll as an Emerging Nonprofit. Emerging Nonprofits receive all benefits as Nonprofit Members, however, once your application for tax exemption is approved by the IRS, your organization is reclassified as a Nonprofit Member.
Individuals, consultants, students, government agencies, and for-profit companies and business can join as an Associate Member. More than 400 associate members of Maryland Nonprofits provide services to, or support the state's nonprofit community. Individuals who are employed by a nonprofit organization may not enroll as an Associate Member. Your agency must become a member in order for you to access Maryland Nonprofits' programs and services. |
