High Speed Copying Equipment

As a service to our members, Maryland Nonprofits makes its high speed duplicating machine available to our members by apointment. Our risograph machine is fairly simple to operate, and is ideal for long runs of single page documents, like flyers and brochures.

This service is provided to members free of charge, but you do need to keep some things in mind before coming down to make copies:

• Make an appointment first. You should always call in advance and schedule a time to make copies.

• Bring your own paper. Remember that while use of our machines is free to members, you are responsible for bringing your own paper.

• Our risograph machine is fast, but not fancy. Our risograph can make a lot of copies in very little time, but it cannot staple, fold, or print in multiple colors. Double sided copies can be made on our risograph, but only by running the copies through a second time on the other side.

• Our machine isn't for every job. Remember that the risograph machine was designed for long runs of documents a few pages in length, and not short runs of multiple page documents. In other words, its great for flyers, but not for training manuals or annual reports.
