Information Sharing
and Networking
Maryland Nonprofits offers
a number of opportunities for board members and staff of member
organizations to share with and learn from one another.
Sector Connector Member Newsletter

To view past issues of Sector Connector, login on the homepage, and then click on Members Only. From there, go to the Sector Connector folder, and Download a Document.
Every odd month (January, March, May, July, September and November) we send you
a printed newsletter called Sector Connector to keep you informed about important developments in the
nonprofit sector. From the latest information about our programs
and services, to alerts about public policy developments, to news
clips and articles -- we sift through all the mail and information
that arrives in our inboxes and share with you what you need to
know.
On a monthly basis, members receive a Sector Connector email update. A Members Only Ecommunity has also been added to our website for archives of each published issue of Sector Connector.
Members can and should submit fliers, news items, etc. on a monthly basis by the 10th of each month and depending on the month, they may be included online or in our emails. Here's an overview of how to submit your items:
- If you want to submit a printed flier, we'll need 2200 copies by the 10th of February, April, June, August, October and December for the following month's mailings (hard newsletters will be printed and mailed in January, March, May, July, September and November).
- All materials MUST be pre-approved by a member of our staff
We look forward to serving you better!

New
Executives and Seasoned Executives Peer Network Group Meetings
Treat
yourself to participation in our New Executives and Seasoned Executives
peer network groups. These informal groups meet monthly and
provide an opportunity for you to connect with leaders from other
organizations. Share experiences, learn from one another,
or just plain vent. Finally, you have someplace to talk
about life as an executive director in a confidential, supportive
environment!
- New Executives groups are currently meeting
in Baltimore and Silver Spring.
- A Seasoned Executives group is currently
meeting in Baltimore.
- New groups will be formed as the necessary
number of participants sign on.
