Join The Baltimore Sun & Maryland Nonprofits for the 2007 Charity Giving Guide Insert

The Baltimore Sun, in a joint effort with Maryland Nonprofits, is requesting article and photo submissions for their 2007 Giving Guide. This fifth edition of the Guide will be published in the Sun papers on November 16, 2007 as a special section insert.

Members interested in submitting articles should know the following details:

Articles must be 800-1000 words (no longer) in Microsoft Word format

3 photos should accompany each article. Photos should be high resolution and forwarded in jpeg format. Photos will not be accepted without photo releases (download here).

The theme for the articles should be: What Your Organization is Doing To Help Your Local Communities and Their Citizens Realize Their Future Promise?

All articles and photos MUST be sent directly to: rick.aronhalt@baltsun.com by no later than September 21st. Articles submitted after 5:00 pm on 9/21/07 will NOT be considered. Please do not send articles to Maryland Nonprofits.

The Baltimore Sun will be solely responsible for reviewing and choosing articles to be published. Only 8 articles will be selected for this special section. Everyone that submits an article will be notified before the insert is published if your article will be included in the guide.

The special section will also be available on www.baltimoresun.com, the #1 website in Maryland for local news and information. The Baltimore Sun will be selling directory and display ad space in the Giving Guide. Maryland Nonprofits will again be offering its own Charity Giving Guide promotional campaign in the spring of 2008 to kick off the New Year. Stay tuned for details.
