Welcome Ann Kenworthy!
We are pleased to announce Ann Kenworthy has been appointed to the post of interim executive director, in a consulting capacity to Maryland Nonprofits. Ms. Kenworthy, affiliated with Transition Management Consulting, Inc., has extensive experience serving as an interim executive director. Kenworthy has served as a senior executive and brings more than 30 years of experience in association and association foundation management. During her tenure as an association and foundation executive, Kenworthy has held senior management, deputy executive director, and CEO positions in fields as diverse as architecture, association management, healthcare and future-focused research. She served as Interim CEO for the Entomological Society of America, The Obesity Society, the Deafness Research Foundation and the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. Kenworthy is a graduate of Oberlin College and earned her Certified Association Executive designation in 1992.
Kenworthy will work three days per week at Maryland Nonprofits, based in the Baltimore office with frequent visits to the Silver Spring office. She is not a candidate for the permanent executive director position. Ann may be contacted directly at akenworthy@mdnonprofit.org or 410.727.6367 x16.
