H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu) - Information and Resources for Nonprofits
Nonprofits (human services, food & housing, etc.) work everyday with people in our communities. If businesses, schools, and governments are dismissed or closed, and in-person contact is discouraged, nonprofits will need to determine how to continue providing services while minimizing contact. This will be very challenging - and thus important to think about and plan for now. For many organizations, determining how to continue to provide services should be a top priority.
The VOADs (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster) are a way for nonprofits to coordinate with one another and with government partners. Join
Maryland VOAD by contacting Kevin M. Burr, Chair at 410.624.2042 or kburr@arc-cmc.org
