Maryland Nonprofits Workers Compensation Program
with IWIF
REAL SAVINGS, REALLY EASY, REALLY SMART!
Maryland Nonprofits has
joined with the Injured Workers Insurance Fund (‘IWIF’)
and Gorges Insurance Company to design a workers compensation program
to save your organization money and to increase productivity by
improving safety and returning injured workers to the workplace.
This program provides most members of Maryland Nonprofits
a 15-25% discount on premiums. This add up to hundreds
or even thousands for many member organizations! There are additional
pricing incentives based on the size of the organization.

Request a Quote
If another carrier currently insures
your organization, we recommend that you request a quote and compare
the rate. To request a quote, either contact your current
broker or fax the cover sheet of your current policy that has the
classification and salary information on it to us at 410.727.1914.
If your broker has questions, refer him to the IWIF
agent information page.
If you are currently insured by IWIF, tell your current broker about
the program so that he or she can ensure that you get the discount
at the next renewal.
For just a few minutes of work, your organization could save hundreds
or even thousands of dollars in workers compensation premiums. The
only requirement is that a staff member attends one risk management
seminar per year. IWIF also provides other workplace safety support.

Started in 1999, this program now covers 400 organizations with
a combined annual premium of over $6,500,000. Participating organizations
have as few as one employee or as many as several hundred, are located
in virtually every county in the state, and programs areas go from
A-adoption agencies to Z-zoos.
