The Maryland Nonprofits Standards for Excellence® Program offers a variety of services to assist nonprofits with implementing the Standards in order to improve their governance and management. It promotes excellence and integrity in nonprofit organizations based on the Standards for Excellence®: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. Organizations can also seek accredidation through the our certification program, organizations in which organizations voluntarily submit to a rigorous review of all aspects of their operations. Organizations that pass this review earn the Seal of Excellence.
