The Nonprofit Event Planning Expo offers a one stop opportunity for nonprofit staff members, consultants, and volunteers from all over the state to learn all they need to know about planning special events – from caterers, food vendors, and photographers – to venues and entertainers for all types of events. The centerpiece of the day is the opportunity to network in the exhibit hall and sample vendor items. The day will also offer two breakout workshops providing lessons to ensure your events are successful.

Breakout Sessions Include:

  • The Four Ps of Event Marketing
  • Rallying the Troops: How to Engage your Attendees with Bling and Bang
  • What’s the Difference Between a Raffle and an Auction?
  • Partnering with Hotels

Special event location, catering, and planning is included - all you have to do is win!

Prize Details: Gore Dean, an upscale home design store located in Mt. Washington, will serve as the venue for the prize special event. Renown Charles Street restaurant Sotto Sopra will prepare a gourmet multi course dinner for 50 at Gore Dean. Extraordinary Events, a special events production company, will create a themed event and market it for the winning nonprofit. Design an event that could net over $25,000 - all for free!
