Shaeleigh Severino

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER AT MARYLAND LATINOS UNIDOS

Shaeleigh “Shae” Severino is a skilled Gen Z, Afro-Latina, LGBTQIA+ woman with a disability, who is a campaigns and communications operative. She has over 7 years of experience as an organizer and digital strategist and has worked with elected officials, candidates for office, nonprofits, and charitable organizations. As a movement builder, communications strategist, and legislative and policy-centered operative, she is dedicated to social justice and Black/Latinx causes.

Severino is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics, a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, and a minor in Sociology from St. John’s University. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree with the trajectory of receiving her J.D and Ph.D. in the future.
