Update Your Contact Information – New Member Portal Launching Soon!

Dear Members,

Change is inevitable and, as Alan Watts suggests, this email is our official invitation for you to join our dance! In lieu of the normal “Weekly Update,” we’re sharing an exciting announcement about the launch of the new Member Portal coming in March 2017! We have listened to your feedback and made major upgrades to the members-only section of our website that will undoubtedly make your membership more valuable.  

WE NEED YOUR HELP RIGHT NOW TO MAKE THE LAUNCH PROCESS AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE.

Your account Primary Contact (usually your ED, CFO, or – in some cases – executive assistant) should login to the current Member Portal and verify or update the account contact information. If no one at your organization knows who the Primary Contact is, then please call us for assistance: 410.727.6367. Updating the account contact info now will ensure that the right person at your organization is receiving important communications regarding the launch and – in March – can update the account password and other information so that your organization’s staff, board, and volunteers can all access the new Portal and member benefits!

CHANGES COMING TO THE MEMBER PORTAL

  • Be part of an exclusive online member community! Ask questions and share advice with other nonprofit and business professionals like you. Start discussions, add your events to a master calendar, advertise your available office space, freecycle office items, etc., all from within your member network.
  • Gain access to an easily searchable Resource Library that makes finding helpful documents and reference materials as simple as typing words in a search bar. Gone are the days of stumbling through confusing filing structures!
  • Ask our staff questions directly online. Skip the phone tag and expressly reach us through a “help desk” feature. Trending questions will be featured in an interactive knowledge base that will be accessible to all members!
  • Prioritize your needs through a simplified design (e.g. accessing documents in the Resource Library, requesting Member Assistance, registering for free and discounted events) while also making other benefits easily available (e.g. requesting a conference room reservation, finding a consultant or service provider, posting a job on the Career Center).

ACTION REQUIRED: UPDATE YOUR ORGANIZATION’S CONTACT INFORMATION ASAP.

Your account Primary Contact should login to the current Member Portal and update your account’s contact information (no later than Friday, March 3).
