Our Volunteer Day of Service: Project Clean Stream

April 14, 2015

This week, April 12th – 18th, is National Volunteer Week! How will your nonprofit celebrate? Our staff celebrated by rolling up their sleeves and joining Project Clean Stream to help clean-up trash left along the riverbank of the nearby Jones Falls River.

As depicted on the Department of Natural Resources’ Genuine Progress Indicators page, the costs of water pollution negatively impacts our quality of life, affecting tourism, property values, habitats of plants and animals that depend on a healthy ecosystem, and much more.
