Order Blocking the New DOL Overtime Rule to be Appealed

The National Council of Nonprofits has reported that the U.S. Departments of Labor and Justice on Thursday, December 1, filed a
Notice of Appeal to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals challenging the
district court judge’s order
 (issued last Tuesday) blocking enforcement of the 
Overtime Final Rule
. We will share more information about the substance of the appeal and timing as it becomes available.
